Career Fair 2018

Bellin College Career Fair 2018 was a tremendous success with twenty-six agencies participating, represented by 41 recruiters. Recruiters continue to be impressed each year by the professionalism of our students, how well prepared they are, and the excellent questions they ask!  All were engaged with students from beginning to end of the event.

Approximately 90 students from the nursing, medical imaging, and MSN programs attended. De Pere High School students enrolled in the Nursing Assistant program also had the opportunity to network with recruiters following their class.

The annual career fair connects students with a variety of healthcare employers from across the state. The goal is for students to explore the organizations represented, and gain confidence approaching recruiters, practicing that all-important handshake and smile, and maintaining eye contact. They learn how to make a lasting impression when introducing themselves to recruiters and sharing their unique story.

Employers attending for the first time included Angels Touch Assisted Living, Door County Medical Center, Froedtert Health, Recover Health, ScribeAmerica, United States Army, and The Volunteer Center of Brown County.

Students were very appreciative of the event and recognize the value of networking early-on in their academic career to better prepare themselves for their professional career.
