First-year and new transfer students get off to a good start receiving individualized guidance with academic policies, degree requirements, course selection, registration, and referrals to other campus services. Get assistance making sure that small problems you may encounter don’t snowball into bigger ones.
Accommodation Services
Bellin College is committed to ensuring all students receive equal access to educational opportunities, programs, and services. Accommodation services are provided at no cost to qualified students. Accommodations can be granted during any semester of a student’s enrollment.
CASTLE
The Center for Academic Success, Teaching, and Learning Excellence (CASTLE) provides tutoring, academic coaching, writing help, and support for career development (e.g., resumes, interview help, etc.).
First-Generation Students & GRIT
Gaining Resilience and Insight Together (GRIT) is a program created to provide additional resources to first-generation students. GRIT is a team and mentor-based program that is not mandatory for students. First-generation students will come together each month (or more) to discuss what it is like to be a first-generation student, learn new tactics for student success, create long-lasting friendships, and promote leadership and lifelong learning.
