New Student Spotlight: Abby Orley

Congratulations on acceptance to Bellin College. What made you choose this field of study?
In the radiologic sciences program, I will have lots of different options and opportunities within this field. I honestly think working with this type of equipment will be extremely fascinating and fun to work with everyday at the different hospitals and clinics I will be at.

What attracted you to Bellin College?
The small class sizes and hands-on learning environment really attracted me to Bellin. I also loved the fact that all of our classes will be health-based, or very specific to our majors.

What are you most excited about coming to Bellin College?
I am most excited to begin clinicals since Bellin College has such a great connection with all of the hospitals and clinics in and outside of the Green Bay area. It will be very exciting to learn about the different equipment at each location!

Tell us about yourself
I recently became an official “cat mom” after I adopted a kitten named Stormy. She keeps us entertained at my new apartment! Back home, I have 2 family pets, including a cat named Moo Moo and a dog named Lucy. I am also a shift manager at Panda Express. I enjoy doing crafts, shopping, hanging out with friends, dancing, and taking pictures.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower, I would choose temporal stasis (Physically stopping the passage of time).
