Distinguished Alumni Award 2024 Goes To Jeffrey Shaha!

Jeffrey Shaha is an alumnus of Bellin College, receiving his Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2006. Jeffrey was nominated by a coworker and current student of the Bellin College Radiologic Sciences program who said the following about Jeffrey:

“I met Jeffrey in 2015 when I started in the Spine Care department at Prevea as a medical assistant and he was a RN. Now Jeffrey is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner and 7 years later we both have circled back together in Rheumatology, and I am now his medical assistant. Crazy how that happened. I love working with Jeffrey, he’s efficient and great with our patients. Our patients love how thorough he is and how he explains things so that our patients understand. At our clinic I room his patients and Jeffrey likes to keep on time with his schedule; he takes the time to discharge his own patients. We get weekly patient satisfaction scores and in the past year Jeffrey’s has been in Rheumatology, his scores have been 10/10. As a Prevea provider his overall star rating from patients is 4.9/5. Everyone that has worked with Jeffrey will tell you how great he is. He’s got so much knowledge and is great at what he does. We need more nurse providers like Jeffrey!”

Jeffrey currently works as Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner at Prevea Health and lives the values of Bellin College in his work every day!
