Bellin College offers new RN to BSN completion program

GREEN BAY, WI – Bellin College is excited to announce a new degree program for registered nurses to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Bellin College, beginning January 2018. The College began the RN to BSN program in 2015 as an exclusive partnership with Bellin Health but is now pleased to expand our successful program to the public and prepare more RNs with an opportunity to advance their nursing career by earning a BSN degree online in two years.

This program is designed to prepare practicing nursing professionals with the credentials and skills necessary to meet the demands of a rapidly changing healthcare environment. More healthcare organizations now require nurses to hold a BSN degree, as studies have reported patients attended by nurses with a BSN degree have better outcomes and lower death rates. “As patient encounters shift from the acute care (hospital) setting to the community, nurses with a BSN degree are prepared to understand and deliver the comprehensive services these patients need and expect,” said Dr. Vera Dauffenbach, RN to BSN program coordinator at Bellin College.

All RNs who are interested in expanding their career and educational opportunities are invited to learn more about the program on our website at www.bellincollege.edu. Applications are now being accepted for the RN to BSN completion program for the January 2018 entry.
