Giving Week
Please help us reach our $10,000 goal!
Hunger and food insecurity affects thousands of individuals and families around the country every day, and at Bellin College, our students are no different. We may not have the large student base of other local institutions, but we still have students struggling to pay tuition, pay for housing and utilities, affording gas to class and clinicals – let alone have money for necessities.
Recently, basic needs insecurities of some students have been brought to the attention of our college community. Struggling to meet basic needs immensely affects a student’s health, academic performance, and overall sense of belonging.
Bellin College is dedicated to our values of excellence, integrity, community, and caring. That is why our goal for this year’s Giving Week is to create the Bellin College Care & Share Cupboard. An on-campus pantry that will provide food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and other items to ensure all Bellin College student’s needs are adequately met.
During this week, Bellin College is seeking monetary donations for the creation of the cupboard, which is set to be located in the lower level of our Resch Campus, located on Eaton Road. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go towards features such as shelving, cabinets, a refrigerator, badge readers, and other items to create the cupboard. After initial construction, the BC Care & Share Cupboard will accept non-monetary donations to keep the cupboard stocked.
Please join us in supporting the Care & Share Cupboard and students who need a little extra help so that they can focus on their academic success!
Kick off the charitable season by helping us reach our goal of $10,000!
