Hello everyone!  My name is Benjamin Rieth, and I am the Assistant Director of Admissions & Outreach at Bellin College.  I am really looking forward to working with you, but first wanted to give you some background on myself.  I attended St. Norbert College, where I received my degree in music, and a minor in leadership studies.  Following that, I attended Marquette University for graduate school, and while there I worked with their Sorority & Fraternity Life.  Two short years later, I received my M.Ed. in Educational Policy & Leadership, which then led me to Bellin College!  Higher education is always something that has excited me – having the ability to work with students in order to attain their future dreams, just as I attained mine, is a true privilege.  Plus, for me, getting to spend every day on a college campus now is kind of magical!

As you think about your college career, always remember to plan ahead, and you are not alone!  Within Admissions, I am here to help make your future dreams become a reality, therefore please keep me updated, and we’ll work together.  I absolutely love to help students reach their goals, and to advise prospect students exactly what they need to do in order to attend Bellin within the program of their choice.  We have so many great programs at Bellin – if I could go back and select a different major, I would select Radiation Therapy.  Having the ability to walk with someone as they battle cancer would be so rewarding, and would be making a true difference.

Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active, traveling as much as possible, and spending time with my husband, Ryan, and our dog Lilly.  We really enjoy cruising (in fact, we were married on the island of St. Thomas in May 2019 when we were on a cruise — so beautiful)!  I also really enjoy kayaking and spending time at our cabin all year-round.
