BCIV is kicking off the new semester by providing an opportunity for community and fellowship for members of BCIV and students interested in joining the organization.
All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join BCIV members for an hour of group prayer and discussion. This will help support, comfort, and encourage those who need extra prayer and allow us to grow closer to God together. Prayer night will be held in the Reflection room.
Bellin College InterVarsity organization is to grow in our relationships with God and understanding of His Word. Each week all cohorts are welcome to come study a short Bible passage and discuss how it pertains to health care and our lives.
Student meeting will be held for BAAMN in room 103.
Love Your Melon was founded in an entrepreneurship class at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota by two friends, Zachary and Brian, who wanted to start a business with a meaningful and positive social impact. On a mission to improve the lives of children battling cancer since October 22nd, 2012, Love Your Melon began with the simple idea of putting a hat on every child battling cancer in America.
Love Your Melon – Bellin College will be collecting swabs for Be The Match. We could find someone that could potentially save a life by donating bone marrow. This would also help get LYM’s name out to the community.
Student Success Center presents: Speakers: Mary Safranski, SSC Assistant & Adam Sprague, Ph.D.
Workshop Description: Participants will work collaboratively to make an APA sample paper to take home using Google Docs. We will discuss the fundamental components of an APA paper as well as key terms. This workshop is incredibly important for new students who have yet to use APA at Bellin College. (Students are encouraged to bring a laptop.)
This activity is open to all students and provides quiet time for studying, with built-in breaks as an opportunity to build community. For example, we would play games, order food, etc. during our breaks.
