Student Volunteers Needed For The Bellin Run!

June 11, 2022 • Green Bay, WI

Students that will be attending Bellin College in Fall 2022 are eligible to participate in the scholarship drawing.*

Five $2,000 scholarships will be drawn from the list of students who volunteer or walk/run the Bellin Run! 

NOTE: * Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for the drawing.

New, incoming students will not necessarily have the experience needed for medical positions, but are still eligible to volunteer for other positions or participate in the run/walk.


STEP 1 – Volunteer or participate (walk/run) in the Bellin Run

 Specific medical opportunities include:

  • Medical Scribe: Chart patient progress in the main medical tent and the Astor Park first aid station. Assist with medical procedures as qualified. Clean up first aid station when finished.
  • Sag Wagon: Ride in the Sag Wagon and provide medical assistance if necessary.
  • First Aid – Water Stations (For more advanced students): Students may be doing simple FA treatments, managing any other immediate medical needs, etc. One to two volunteers are needed at each aid station (5 water stations).
  • First Aid – Wheelchair Assistant: Assist in transport of participants into the Main Medical Tent if necessary.

Students will be assigned to a medical position based on experience. If you have any questions regarding the medical positions, please email Roland.Schmidt@bellin.org.

STEP 2 – Notify Bellin College Advancement department

To be included in the drawing for five $2,000 scholarships, students must notify Bellin College Advancement that they signed up to volunteer by June 10, OR if you are participating in the run/walk, please send a photo of you wearing your bib on race day. Send email to advancement@bellincollege.edu

Drawing will take place no later than June 30, 2022. Please consider participating.
