The Bellin College Developing Academic Skills and Habits (DASH) Program provides academic support to students who do not meet the admissions requirements for our direct admit option*. The goal of the program is to help students achieve the standards needed to enroll in the Sophomore Transfer Option (STO) their second year.
Academic Plan for Freshman Year:
|Fall||• Developing Academic Skills and habits (beginning fall 2020): 2 credits
• Anatomy & Physiology I (beginning fall 2020): 4 credits
• Psychology: 3 credits
• Intermediate Algebra: 3 credits
• Composition and Professional Writing: 3 credits
|Spring||• Introduction to Health Sciences: 1 credit
• Anatomy & Physiology II (beginning spring 2021): 4 credits
• Developmental Psychology: 3 credits
• General Chemistry: 4 credits
If students achieve at least a cumulative 3.0 G.P.A. in their first two semesters, they may apply as a BSN STO or a BSRS STO and join that cohort. The Student Success and Introduction to Health Sciences courses are Pass/Fail and would make up three General Education credits in total. Applicants must have completed all required high school courses to be eligible.

*Direct admit requirements (does not apply to DASH Program admits):
Nursing: 3.25 cumulative GPA and a ACT composite score of 23
Radiologic Sciences: 3.0 cumulative GPA and a ACT composite score of 20
