Welcome from the President

Welcome to Bellin College where our mission is to prepare health care professionals by providing an intellectually stimulating environment focused on leadership, community service, and lifelong learning that promotes excellence in health care practice.  The College has begun its second century with the addition of a new health science program, a new name, and a new campus,

Founded in 1909 as the Deaconess Sanitarium Training School by physician Julius Bellin as a 3 year diploma nursing program, the transition into granting a baccalaureate degree in nursing in 1984 provided the name change to Bellin College of Nursing.  A graduate degree in nursing was added in 2004.

As we honor and build upon the College’s heritage, and the strong traditions of excellence in nursing education, a new baccalaureate degree in the radiologic sciences was added in 2009, and our new name became Bellin College, reflecting the addition of our first program in the health sciences.

Bellin College is located on a beautiful new 17 acre campus in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  The campus was designed with the input of students, faculty, staff, board members and the community.   This is our first stand-alone campus with state-of-the-art technology that supports our emphasis on clinical education and access to highly dedicated faculty and staff.

I invite you to explore our College through this website, and encourage you to visit our campus so that you can meet our students, faculty and staff personally.

Best Wishes
