Our New Campus
Bellin College has built a new campus on 17.56 acres in the Village of Bellevue.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette interviewed V. Jane Muhl, president and CEO of Bellin College and asked her about the new campus:
"The college is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bellin Health System, and, as such, its location has been embedded in the Bellin Health facilities. This has included, over the years, locations in the attic of the hospital, a former nurses dormitory, and currently in a former psychiatric hospital at 725 S. Webster Ave. While each of these locations was remodeled for the provision of nursing education, none were designed as an academic facility, and the identity of the college has been a "best-kept" secret.
Additionally, the current facilities are inadequate for the expansion of the college. Our enrollment has been capped at 300 students for the past several years because there was no room to physically expand — even in a time of a national nursing shortage. Our new stand-alone campus will allow us to expand our enrollments in the bachelor's and master's programs in nursing and radiologic sciences, thus addressing our mission of providing well-educated health-care professionals for Northeastern Wisconsin and beyond. The new campus facility is designed to allow us to double our enrollment."
